Suzanne: I'm the jaded and slighty disaffected employee of a chain store in Wellington, and I spend far too much time staring at the shoes of people I pass on the street.

Style-wise, I tend towards simplicity, though this is more the product of laziness than actual design. I like well-cut coats, shoes with flowers on them, and silver rings; I own ugg boots, but I've never worn them further afield from my home than my local dairy. My favourite colour is red, although I don't actually wear it that much.

Sylvia: I'm a belly-dancing henna artist, student of languages, and employee of a certain foreign cultural outpost. I have a partner who is even more critical about people's shoes than I am.

My style preferences have been heavily influenced by my fascination with Eastern cultures. I worship the bright colours of Bollywood movies. My work, and my insistance on flitting off to the gym in between times, demand practicality up to a point, so some days I don't look much like the hippy chick I see myself as.

My favourite colours at the moment are green and blue. My favourite item of clothing is my blue embroidered kaftan I made recently, although I don't get to wear it that often.
